WELCOME TO THE MARKETPLACE

Indiana Artisan is fine oils and fine wines, handmade leather journals and hand-turned

wood bowls. It’s Lake Michigan artists and Ohio River Valley craftsmen, persimmon growers

near the Old National Road and chocolatiers of near perfection. Indiana’s heritage in glass,

musical instruments, stoneware, woodwork, fine wines and cheeses, candies, brandies and

more is defined through this collaboration bringing the artisans and their art, and all of

Indiana’s fine food and creativity, together—in stores, in trails you can travel throughout the

state and in this room today.

This Holiday Marketplace features more than 75 artists and food producers. Indiana Artisan

reviews applications twice each year, and this fall’s applicants were invited to participate this

weekend. They, as well as the participating Indiana Artisans, are identified in the following

list and on the map. Talk with them. You will enjoy your visit. Indiana Artisan was tasked by

the state legislature to identify, recognize and promote the state’s highest-quality art and foods.

Its mission is to develop a brand that defines Indiana by its exceptional art and foods—the

select Indiana-made work you will see today. The work of nearly 300 Artisans in 63 Indiana

counties broadly defines the Indiana Artisan brand. Many come together only twice each year,

and this Holiday Marketplace is one of those times. Enjoy your visit, join us for the annual
