1Google “Twitter app,” download the app for free, find it on your phone and click on the app. Then, click on “Sign up.”

Create a Twitter account2Type in your organization’s or your name, email address (may have to click on “email instead”) and password. Click “Sign up” or “Next.” Rather than enter your phone number, click “Not now.”

4Unless you want to select the “interests” option Twitter will give you, click “Not now” (recommended).
3Type in your username (keep it short) and click “Next” and then “Let’s go!”

6Unless you want to select the “friends” option Twitter will give you, click “Not now” (recommended).
5Click on the “camera” icon and then either click on “Take photo” or “Choose existing photo” and upload your photo (ideally your organization’s logo). Click “Save changes.”

8Click on your username.
7To change your account’s profile photo, add a bio and more, click your home screen’s colon-like icon.

10Type in your brief “Bio” (for an example, see next page) and other details if you wish. When done, click “SAVE.”
