2009 in NZ

• How do we measure the economic and social value of cultural websites? This will raise issues of metrics, evaluation.

• A report on the recent survey of sites carried out by Culturemondo. What trends, issues and future directions are suggested by the survey?

“Those of us working on cultural websites are doing such a huge job that we easily get lost in our day-to-day tasks. So Culturemondo has been really valuable in exposing us to other people dealing with the same issues and giving us an opportunity to look at what we are doing from an international perspective. Talking to other web builders from around the world is a unique opportunity which cannot be replicated.”
