Synopsis: The Battle of Jericho was won because Joshua and Israel chose to be obedient to the will of God. We know the importance of obedience, yet struggle with it. Joshua reminds us to respect God, humble ourselves to Him, listen to Him, trust Him and do what He has said. We may gain victory through obedience, just as Joshua did.
