Your body is a brilliant machine with many important parts.
It is more than what you see when you look in the mirror - there are different parts that have different jobs, but each part works together so that you can sleep, eat, sit in class and play with your friends. Your body is a pretty amazing thing!
While there is a lot happening on the outside that you can see, there is even more happening inside our body.
Make a scrapbook showing the parts of the body.
Child can draw outline picture and colour / or paste pictures and label.
Encourage the child to point to the body parts while reading the labels aloud.
Discuss and explain the functions and importance of each body part.
Encourage the child to perform the actions using body parts – Pick, Hold, Clap, Walk, Hop, Run, Jump, Chew, Eat, Drink, Look, Smell, Hear, Breath etc.
Child can also draw a human body below, or on a separate chart paper.
If it is drawn on chart/ thick paper, the child can also create a jigsaw puzzle and then have fun joining the pieces to assemble the complete body.

KNOW YOUR FAMILY TREE
A family tree is a chart representing family relationships in a conventional tree-like structure. It is more than showing your immediate family members but depicts larger family relationships.
Let’s make a Family Tree
How to make a Family Tree -
Take a small, old bowl and fill it with mud.
Now fix a twig or a branch of tree on it.
Cut out leaves of different coloured A4 sheets.
Paste pictures of your family members on these leaves.
Child can paste cut-outs of fruits or flowers and birds as well to beautify the Family Tree.
Parents shall discuss the Family Tree with the child and explain importance of good relationships amongst family members.
Child can also make similar branch of the tree for including the larger family in the space below.
