STATE SYMBOLS OF RUSSIAN REGIONS

State symbols of the Russian regions have

different pictures on the coats of arms.They can show the history, geographical position, animal and plant world, industry

and agriculture of the region.

LIPETSK REGION

The main element

on the coat is

linden.

It stands on four hills which mean four regions, parts of them formed Lipetsk

region : Kursk, Oryol, Ryazan and Voronezh regions. The fifth hill is Lipetsk

region itself.

The red colour symbolizes the industry of the region.Besides, red colour is the

symbol of strength, holidays and beauty.

Green colour shows the beautiful nature of the region

Gold is the colour of the sun, wealth, main activity of Lipetsk

farmers.

DOBRINKA DISTRICT

On the green field there is a woman in silver clothes. The image of woman is the

symbol of farming and fertility

The sunflower and grain crops are the main cultures of Dobrinka farming

The colours are the same as in regional coat of arms.

So the coats of arms of Lipetsk region and Dobrinka district show the history, natural resources, richness and main activity of the population of our region and district
