Communicate with the user regarding link down.

Communicate with the BSNL or PGCL and lock the ticket for those link which are down.

The ticket are locked in service desk.

2.SERVICE DESK (https://sdeskdr.nic.in)

New incident:-

Sample creating of new incident:

Then save the incident by clicking the save button :

Refresh the page, click “my group incident”

Ticket lock completed.

Monitor on nagios to check link ups and downs

When the link is up goto Service deskClick Activities-> update statues….

Change the status and update the link up.

3. Upload the downtime in state view (https://10.1.192.23/stateview)

a) Links downtime NIC (district links)b) Links downtime (core links n NKN links)

Downtime:

Click on the edit below the downtime:

Goto nagios back again:For example to see link downtime and uptimeof Mokochung:

Click the “view availability report for this host”

Note and enter the downtime and uptime:

To enter the self docket number goto service desk and enter the incident no. in stateview

Update link down reason:

Fill the reason and ”check” the reason flag and click the enter button:

Refresh the page, the datas you enter appears on the “reason datas” .
