There are five different groups of animals with vertebrates.

Mammals are warm-blooded. They have hair or fur. They give birth to live young and the mother feeds the babies with milk. Mammals breathe with lungs.

Grizzly Bears have certain characteristics that make them a mammal.

A grizzly bear looks like a polar bear but a grizzly is smaller and has brown fur. He has long, thick, brown, black, red, or blonde fur. They have long claws on both of there paws.
