We welcome yet another academic year along with the festive season. Last 3-5 years,
Pharmacy Education has gone through revamp; be it a uniform syllabus throughout
India or many institutions getting themselves accredited. Now we are embracing the
change. It's a high time again to look at the arena of Universal Human Values and
Professional Ethics which is also a part of one of the criteria in both NBA and NAAC
accreditation process. Most of the institutes either struggle to cope up with this
module or they simply deny it. AICTE and UGC are in a process to come up with a
deinite module for this aspect and in a couple of years, it will become necessary to
have this module in the syllabus of all universities. I have gone through this module
in one of the Faculty Development Program and found it as an indispensable part to
be taught to our students. Since we are at the commencement of new academic session,
there are fewer news in this current issue. We request and invite all the readers to send
their achievements, emotions, celebrations & Institutional news for the upcoming issues
of this SKB Pharma e-Bulletin
Dear Readers, Happy Guru Purnima and Season of Festivals
