All mathematical calculations for the bridge made by Charles Alton Ellis. The Golden Gate Bridge construction project was carried out by the McClintic-Marshall Construction Company, founded by Howard McClintic and Charles Marshall, both of Lehigh University.

Building a bridge began January 5, 1933 and lasted more than 4 years. The bridge was prepared by the engineer Joseph Strouss, a consultant architect Irving Morrow was that used in the design elements of Art Deco style.

Opening
